Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Sandra Cavoto Insurance Agency, Inc. collects, how we use and share it, how we protect it, and the choices you have. It covers this website, our text message program, and the information you share with our offices.

Effective date: September 28, 2026. "We," "us," and "our" mean Sandra Cavoto Insurance Agency, Inc., 948 W Madison St, Chicago, IL 60607.

Your mobile number is never sold or shared for marketing. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your consent to receive texts from us is not transferable to anyone else.

1. Information we collect on this website

This website collects personal information in only one place: the text message sign-up form. When you submit it, we collect:

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs for every visit, such as the IP address, browser type, pages requested, and time. Cloudflare uses these logs to keep the site secure and running. We do not use them to identify or market to visitors.

This website sets no cookies for visitors and runs no advertising pixels, social media plugins, or embedded maps. Fonts are served from this site. Two services from our hosting provider, Cloudflare, do run:

Cloudflare's bot protection may set a temporary security cookie if it needs to confirm that a visitor is not an automated program, and our host may set a similar cookie when staff sign in to the site's private records page. Those cookies are used only for security. We do not collect information about your activity over time or across other websites, and no other party collects that information through this site. Because nothing here follows you across sites, a "Do Not Track" browser signal changes nothing; we treat every visitor the same way.

2. Information we collect as your insurance agency

When you ask for a quote, buy or change a policy, or report a claim, we collect the information needed to serve you. Depending on the coverage, this can include your name, address, date of birth, phone number, email address, driver's license number, vehicle identification numbers, details about your home or business, your driving and claims history, and payment information.

Some of this information comes from you. Some may come from other sources, as the law allows: the insurance company that issues your policy, consumer reporting agencies, motor vehicle records, claims history databases, and other insurance support organizations. Insurance support organizations may keep the information they collect and share it with other insurers as the law permits.

3. How we use information

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to serve you and as the law permits:

None of the sharing described above includes your text messaging opt-in data or consent. That information is used only to run our text message program and is not shared with any third party for any other purpose.

We disclose nonpublic personal information only as permitted or required by law, including the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and the insurance privacy laws of the states where we are licensed.

5. Text messages

If you sign up for our text message program, we use your mobile number to send the types of messages you chose: account and policy updates, coverage reviews and offers, or both. Messages come from (480) 518-0747. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time. Full program terms are in our Terms & Conditions.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Sharing with service providers that help us deliver messages and customer service is permitted. All other categories of sharing exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

6. Your rights to see and correct your information

You can ask to see the personal information we have about you in our records, ask us to correct it, or ask what we have disclosed and to whom. Illinois (215 ILCS 5/1009 (opens in a new tab) and 5/1010 (opens in a new tab)) and Arizona (A.R.S. 20-2108 (opens in a new tab) and 20-2109 (opens in a new tab)) insurance privacy laws give you these rights for information we collected in connection with your insurance. To make a request, write to us at 948 W Madison St, Chicago, IL 60607, or call (312) 666-4424 and we will send you a form. We will respond within 30 business days. If we do not agree with a correction, we will tell you why and you may file a short statement with your record.

You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, by calling us, or in any other reasonable way. You can also tell us not to contact you for marketing at all, and we will honor it.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law. We will honor those requests as the law requires. Some information must be kept to meet insurance regulations.

7. How we protect information

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards that fit the size of our agency and the sensitivity of the information, such as encrypted connections to this website, encrypted storage of text message sign-ups, and limiting access to the people who need it to serve you. No method of storing or sending information is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

8. How long we keep information

We keep insurance records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal, regulatory, and licensing requirements. We keep records of text message consent and opt-outs for at least five years after your last message, so we can show that we honored your choices.

9. Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. You must be at least 18 to join our text message program.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make a material change to this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date, and, if you are enrolled in our text message program and the change affects it, we will let you know by text or by another method you have given us.
